Trump Rakes in $1.7B from Crypto Companies Amid Regulatory Rollbacks

US President Donald Trump's financial disclosure report reveals he made over $1.7 billion from his cryptocurrency businesses last year, despite claims of no involvement in his companies.

The report shows Trump's business CIC Digital LLC, which oversees the president's $TRUMP 'meme' coins and digital NFT trading cards, brought in more than $US600 million.

Another company, World Liberty Financial, made over $US500 million selling crypto products such as governance tokens, the crypto equivalent to company shares.

The total income from these two businesses was around $US1.2 billion or $1.74 billion.

This significant increase in cryptocurrency income comes after Trump's administration dismantled most financial regulations on the sector.
