Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026: Web3 Adoption Takes Center Stage

Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026 (MYBW 2026) will be held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur on July 29-30, 2026. The event is organized by ACTIV8 Lab and aims to bring together blockchain developers, investors, enterprises, and policymakers to discuss web3 adoption in Southeast Asia.

The conference theme is 'Bridging Realities: Where Everyone Meets Web3', covering topics such as institutional capital, local adoption, and the intersection of AI infrastructure with blockchain technology. Keynote speakers include Binance Global Policy Lead Steven Mcwhirter, Tron Founder Justin Sun, and Visa Head of Digital Currencies Asia Pacific Nischint Sanghavi.

Noelle Lee, managing partner and organizing host of MYBW, said 'What we're seeing now is web3 as a whole being actively shaped in emerging markets like Southeast Asia.' Dr. Ian Tan, co-founder of MYBW, mentioned the upcoming digital policy in Malaysia's framework for attracting technology firms.
