WisdomTree Hires Digital Asset Veteran to Lead Strategy Efforts

Asset manager WisdomTree has strengthened its commitment to the digital asset space by appointing John Whelan as its head of digital asset strategy. Whelan brings significant experience to the role, having led digital assets at Banco Santander for ten years until the end of last year.

Whelan's background in launching innovative financial products on public blockchains is a key asset for WisdomTree, which has already made strides in this area through its tokenized money market funds. The company's WTGXX onchain MMF currently manages over $910 million in assets under management.
