Shah Alam Council Discards Seized Crypto Mining Gear Worth RM800,000

The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has disposed of RM800,000 worth of cryptocurrency mining equipment seized in 2025 through joint operations with relevant agencies.

The disposal was carried out under the 2026 Enforcement Department Non-Perishable Goods Disposal Programme at its towing depot in Section 17, Shah Alam, Selangor.

The disposed items included mining devices and blowers used for unauthorized Bitcoin mining activities.

MBSA stated that the programme aimed to ensure all confiscated goods that had undergone legal proceedings were disposed of according to established procedures.
