LitVM Testnet Surpasses 63M Transactions, Paving Way for Programmable Apps
Lunar Digital Assets' LitVM testnet has reached impressive milestones just two months after its launch. The testnet, which allows Litecoin (LTC) to interact with Ethereum-style smart contracts, has seen over 63 million transactions and 4.4 million wallets sign up for testing. This rapid growth is a testament to the demand for programmable apps on the Litecoin network.
The company highlighted eight flagship applications, including decentralized finance tools, real-world assets integrations, and AI-powered prediction markets. These applications are being developed by over 1.5 million new users who have signed up in the past two weeks alone.
Lunar Digital Assets' co-founders, Roc Zacharias and Aztec Amaya, attribute this success to the growing interest in using Litecoin for more than just fast and low-cost transactions.
