Missing California Man's Disappearance Investigated as Possible Foul Play

A 74-year-old California man named Naiping Hou has been missing since March 16, 2025. According to investigators, he was last seen in Rancho Cucamonga, and his bank accounts were depleted before his disappearance was reported.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is working with the FBI to locate Hou, who is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. His son, Wen Hou, has offered a $250,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.

Wen Hou reported that he had received strange text messages from his father's phone in the weeks leading up to his disappearance. He also stated that his father was not an online-savvy person and would not have been able to buy gold or cryptocurrency on his own.
