A notable whale has increased its presence on the cryptocurrency derivatives platform HyperLiquid by adding $3 million in USDC to their position.

According to recent data from OnchainLens, this substantial injection of capital has expanded an existing short bet against Bitcoin. The trade now holds a significant 700 BTC, valued at approximately $52.89 million.

The entry price for the short stands at $75,919, while the liquidation level is set at $80,839.93. This large position employs high leverage, making it vulnerable to rapid changes in risk as market conditions shift.
