Telegram Users in Uzbekistan Can Now Trade Tokenized U.S. Stocks
A new investment feature has been introduced in Uzbekistan's Telegram app, giving millions of users the opportunity to trade tokenized U.S. stocks directly within the messaging platform.
The 'Crypto Stocks' section, launched as part of a pilot program overseen by the National Agency for Prospective Projects, allows users to buy, sell, store, and transfer digital versions of shares in major U.S. companies such as Apple, Tesla, Netflix, and Amazon.
According to the developers, the system is designed to make global investment tools easier to access for everyday users, with investments starting from $1. This allows users to purchase fractional shares rather than full stocks.
