Coinbase Unveils Tokenized Stocks and AI Advisor in 'Everything Exchange' Ambition

Coinbase is expanding its reach in the financial world by unveiling plans to offer tokenized US stocks for customers outside the United States. The company aims to provide a seamless experience, enabling users to trade, hold, and redeem these assets on-chain while receiving dividend payments automatically.

The exchange has already launched 24/7 perpetual-style stock index trading for US users, offering up to 20x leverage and USDC settlement. This comes as traditional brokerages and crypto firms compete to bring equities onto blockchain infrastructure.

Coinbase's broader roadmap includes an AI-powered advisor and stock options trading as part of its 'Everything Exchange' vision. The company has already introduced Coinbase Advisor, a SEC-registered AI-powered investment advisor that provides personalized portfolio analysis and automated tax-loss harvesting for US users.
