Aave Sees Highest Daily New Wallet Count Since 2021 Amid DeFi Resurgence
Aave's decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol has seen a significant increase in new user adoption, according to on-chain analytics firm Santiment.
The data shows that Aave recorded 1,806 new wallet addresses on the Ethereum network on June 30, marking the highest single-day count since October 2021.
This spike in new wallets suggests a fresh wave of participants entering the ecosystem after a prolonged period of reduced activity.
Aave's total value locked (TVL) sits at approximately $12.2 billion, a significant recovery from the lows of 2022 but still below the peak levels seen during the 2021 bull market.
