XTAO Adapts Validator After Bittensor Subnet Upgrade

xTAO, a crypto infrastructure firm, recently updated its validator in response to Bittensor's network upgrade.

Bittensor doubled the number of subnets from 128 to 256 as part of its May upgrade.

Subnets on Bittensor are essentially separate competitions for AI projects that run in parallel, and doubling their number makes room for more experiments. However, it also increases the workload for validators, who are responsible for judging activity across subnets and determining reward distribution.
