Ripple Boosts Cybersecurity with North Korea Threat Intelligence

Ripple has made a significant contribution to the cybersecurity of the digital asset industry by sharing exclusive threat intelligence on North Korean cyber actors with the Crypto ISAC, a nonprofit organization that helps crypto companies share security information.

The data provided by Ripple includes domains, wallets, and indicators of compromise from active DPRK hack campaigns. This information will enable crypto companies to better detect and prevent cyber attacks from North Korea.

In addition to the technical data, the profiles of suspected North Korean IT workers include details such as their LinkedIn accounts, email addresses, locations, and contact numbers. These enriched profiles provide a more comprehensive understanding of the individuals behind the attacks.

The integration of this data through Crypto ISAC's new API will allow member companies to normalize indicators across Web2 and Web3 environments and feed directly into their security operations.
