MicroStrategy's Latest Bitcoin Purchase Sparks Price Prediction Debate
MicroStrategy, a company known for its large corporate Bitcoin treasury, has made another significant purchase of the cryptocurrency. Between March 24 and March 30, it acquired 22,048 BTC for approximately $1.92 billion, bringing its total holdings to 528,185 BTC.
The average cost of these purchases was around $67,458 per coin, according to CoinDesk. This latest acquisition was funded through convertible note offerings and at-the-market stock sales.
While the company's Bitcoin purchase has sparked predictions of a potential price surge, analysts suggest that buying at current prices may not yield the same returns as entering the market through a presale event.
