Cardano's Shift towards Community-Driven Growth

Cardano (ADA) creator Charles Hoskinson has outlined a new strategy to drive growth and adoption of the cryptocurrency. In a departure from previous approaches, Hoskinson has emphasized the importance of community-driven initiatives over expensive international events.

The decision follows a community vote that saw 14 million ADA allocated for hosting events such as TOKEN2049 in Singapore and upcoming Cardano summits. However, this proposal was ultimately rejected due to concerns over ROI and the potential for more effective use of funds.

Hoskinson has instead proposed establishing community hubs across various cities worldwide. These centers will host regular meetups, hackathons, and startup incubation camps to foster innovation and learning among developers and entrepreneurs. The goal is to create a pipeline of talent and drive sustainable growth through long-term connections and benefits.
