A significant event is set to take place in the cryptocurrency market next month as a large number of tokens are scheduled for unlocking.
Preliminary data from CryptoRank indicates that over $5.8 billion worth of tokens will enter circulation in March, marking one of the largest monthly supply expansions of the year.
The majority of these tokens belong to RAIN, with a massive 37.43 billion release scheduled for March 10. This token unlock represents approximately $338 million and accounts for 3.25% of RAIN's market capitalization.
Aster is also set to unlock a notable number of tokens on March 17, releasing 78.41 million worth $56 million, which equates to 0.98% of its market cap.
