Kraken Brings Crypto-Native Trading Model to Traditional Equity Markets
Kraken has expanded its offerings by launching regulated perpetual futures on tokenized US stocks, allowing traders to access these markets around the clock. The new products are available to eligible non-US investors across over 110 countries.
The contracts reference digital tokens that mirror major US equities, stock indices, and a gold ETF. These tokenized assets are fully collateralized and backed 1:1 by the referenced securities, providing a price anchor even when US stock exchanges are closed.
According to Kraken, the perpetual contract structure is well-suited for traders who want continuous access, capital efficiency, and flexibility to go long or short quickly. The company plans to expand the range of tokenized US stocks and ETFs offered in derivative form over the coming months.
