Bitwise Submits Revised S-1 for Hyperliquid ETF Amidst Growing Interest in HYPE Tokens
Bitwise, a leading crypto asset manager, has taken another step in its efforts to launch a Hyperliquid ETF. The company filed an updated S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the proposed fund. This move is part of the growing trend of asset managers seeking to offer investors exposure to HYPE tokens without leveraging crypto exchanges or wallets.
The updated filing outlines key details about the fund's structure, including its ticker symbol BHYP. The fund will directly hold HYPE tokens and list on NYSE Arca. Bitwise has also disclosed that it will stake a portion of its holdings to earn additional tokens, with around 85% of staking rewards retained after fees.
The proposed product includes an annual management fee of 0.67%, as well as custody arrangements with Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered crypto bank. The price of HYPE tokens has surged over the past year, rising by approximately 200% over the last 12 months.
