Avalanche Foundation Launches Research Grant Program for Tokenomics and Validator Studies
The Avalanche Foundation has introduced a research grant program aimed at advancing knowledge in tokenomics and validator mechanisms. This initiative, open to global academic researchers, aims to support studies that contribute to a deeper understanding of the Avalanche network's economic dynamics.
At the heart of this research program are two primary areas of focus: (1) crypto asset pricing and valuation, specifically examining how native assets accumulate value on Proof-of-Stake public chains; and (2) validator economics and network security, which includes optimal staking ratios, revenue models for validators, set health, and non-inflationary reward mechanisms.
The program's goal is to provide insights that can help improve the stability and efficiency of the Avalanche network. Researchers interested in applying for a grant should submit their proposals according to the announced guidelines. The maximum funding per project is $50,000.
