Sol Strategies' $18M Acquisition of HoudiniSwap Expands Blockchain Infrastructure

Sol Strategies Inc., a publicly traded entity specializing in institutional-quality blockchain infrastructure and digital asset treasury management, has made a strategic move with its acquisition of HoudiniSwap, a platform that provides cross-chain swap aggregation.

The transaction, valued at $18 million, includes multiple payment mechanisms, including cash, equity, and deferred compensation. This deal is expected to enhance Sol Strategies' position within the Solana ecosystem and provide advanced cross-chain liquidity solutions.

HoudiniSwap has facilitated over $2.5 billion in aggregate trading volume across 100 different blockchain networks, integrating with up to 18 decentralized trading venues and numerous self-custody wallet solutions. The acquisition is expected to broaden Sol Strategies' income channels and enhance its revenue diversity beyond traditional staking operations within the Solana ecosystem.
