Crypto Market Surges to $2.7 Trillion Amid Macro Headlines
The global cryptocurrency market has seen a significant increase in its total value, rising by around 2% to approximately $2.7 trillion over the past 24 hours. This growth can be attributed to increased activity in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other top-performing cryptocurrencies.
According to data from CoinGecko and Crypto.com, Bitcoin's dominance remains steady at around 58%, while its market capitalization stands near $1.5 trillion. Meanwhile, Ethereum has added roughly 1-2% over the last 24 hours, with a market cap in the $250-$260 billion range.
Other notable movers include XRP, Solana, and Internet Computer, which have seen significant gains on the day. Analysts suggest that this uptick is being driven by a rotation out of stressed bond markets and a softening stock tape, with digital assets absorbing some of the risk capital that had been parked on the sidelines.
