BitMEX Founder Opposes CLARITY Act, Urging Trump to Veto Digital Asset Regulation
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, a leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has expressed his opposition to the CLARITY Act, a proposed legislation aimed at regulating digital assets in the United States. In an interview with The Wolf Of All Streets, Hayes emphasized that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies should not rely on regulation to survive.
Hayes believes that if crypto needs regulation to exist, it is not worth investing in. He suggests that the asset class should stand on its own design and market demand, rather than relying on external validation from regulators or traditional financial institutions.
