Crypto Regulations Gain Momentum with Senate Committee Vote
The long-awaited Clarity Act has made significant progress in the US Senate after a key committee vote.
The bill aims to establish clear regulations for the digital asset market, with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) taking on a primary role in overseeing large parts of the crypto industry.
The CFTC would be responsible for regulating derivatives and other related products, while the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would retain authority to oversee digital securities.
