Ethereum Market Dominance Under Pressure Amidst Institutional Repositioning
The Ethereum market is facing significant challenges as institutional investors continue to reposition their assets. According to recent data, Ethereum spot ETFs have recorded approximately $540 million in net outflows year-to-date, with the largest weekly withdrawal since late January totaling over $306 million.
The bleeding has not stopped, with 14 consecutive days of outflows totaling over $708 million. This pattern is consistent with fading institutional enthusiasm, a dynamic where post-approval euphoria gives way to fundamental reassessment.
Flow data shows that XRP and Solana are attracting significant investment, pulling in +$68 million and +$55 million respectively in the same week ETH bled –$249 million. This rotation is directional, not a broad crypto exit, as institutional capital is leaving Ethereum specifically.
