BitForex Founder Garrett Jin's $15M Zcash Short Position Hits Losses

Garrett Jin, founder of the defunct cryptocurrency exchange BitForex, holds a significant short position in Zcash (ZEC) on Hyperliquid, according to blockchain analytics firm EmberCN.

The position, valued at approximately $15.08 million, was opened nine days ago at an average price of $444 per ZEC.

As ZEC has rallied 24.23% over the past seven days, Jin's short position is now underwater, showing an unrealized loss of around $530,000.
