Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has escalated his long-running feud with JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon over proposed US crypto legislation.

The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, or CLARITY Act, aims to create a unified regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies in the United States. The bill would divide regulatory authority between two agencies: the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Garlinghouse argues that the legislation is not designed to weaken oversight but to provide clear rules and compliance standards for market participants.
