Ripple Expands Institutional Trading Infrastructure with EDX Markets Integration
Ripple's latest move aims to further establish itself as a leader in the institutional crypto finance space by integrating its Ripple Prime platform with EDX Markets and EDXM International. The integration allows institutional clients to access spot and perpetual futures liquidity within a single brokerage structure, reducing fragmentation and counterparty risk.
The partnership between Ripple and EDX will enable institutional clients to leverage collateral management tools, credit intermediation, and net settlement features, improving capital efficiency. Additionally, the integration of RLUSD stablecoin as a settlement and collateral asset on EDX platforms is being explored, which could further strengthen Ripple's stablecoin ecosystem.
The introduction of EDX Markets' centralized clearing mechanisms, lower counterparty risk, and deep liquidity access will appeal to institutional investors seeking regulated-style exposure to crypto markets. With this integration, Ripple Prime expands its institutional trading network significantly, positioning itself as a full-scale institutional crypto finance platform.
