Ronin Leverages Ethereum's Security Umbrella with OP Stack Integration

Ronin, a leading Web3 gaming platform, has successfully integrated with the Ethereum Layer-2 (L2) powered by the OP Stack. This strategic move is expected to significantly improve security and reduce costs for the platform.

The integration with the OP Stack allows Ronin to leverage Ethereum's massive security umbrella while maintaining low transaction fees. This partnership also enables Ronin to become a standardized L2, making it easier for developers to bridge games and liquidity across the ecosystem.

As part of this transition, Ronin is also implementing EigenDA for data availability, which will further reduce gas fees and enhance throughput for high-frequency gaming actions. The network has temporarily paused on-chain activities for Axie Infinity and Pixels due to a planned maintenance window that will last approximately 10 hours.
