US Government Transfers Seized Cryptocurrencies to Coinbase Prime

The US government has continued its efforts to manage and liquidate seized cryptocurrencies. A recent transaction saw approximately $33,000 worth of UNI, CRO, and LINK tokens transferred from a government-controlled wallet to Coinbase Prime.

The assets were originally confiscated from Brian Krewson, a convicted criminal serving a prison sentence for aiding money laundering in connection with drug trafficking offenses. This move marks a standard step in the process of managing forfeited digital assets, allowing the government to maximize value while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
