Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge After Eight Weeks of Outflows
US-listed Bitcoin ETFs have seen a significant turnaround after eight weeks of outflows. According to data from SoSoValue, these funds attracted around $273 million in fresh investor money over the last two weeks.
This is a marked change from the previous eight-week period when investors withdrew more than $8 billion from Bitcoin ETFs. In fact, during this time, investors pulled out $424.7 million on one day due to rising military tensions between the US and Iran.
Despite that large withdrawal, the funds still experienced positive inflows overall. Experts believe this could be a sign of growing confidence in Bitcoin among investors. Richard Galvin, Executive Chairman of crypto investment firm DACM, stated that two straight weeks of inflows after eight weeks of withdrawals is a 'positive sign' for the crypto market.
The increased interest in Bitcoin ETFs may also indicate that institutional investors are slowly returning to the cryptocurrency. These funds allow individuals to invest in Bitcoin without directly holding or storing it, which can be an attractive option for large-scale investors.
