Bitcoin Stays Stable at $60K Amid Middle East Conflict
Bitcoin has managed to remain relatively stable at around $60,000 over the weekend despite the escalating tensions between the US and Iran. The Middle East conflict has led to a breakdown in the ceasefire, with both sides trading blows. However, this did not seem to have much of an impact on Bitcoin's price.
The cryptocurrency had previously surged to $65,500 after recovering its $64,000 support over the weekend, but that momentum was short-lived. It plummeted to $59,000 on Wednesday due to FUD around Strategy and then dropped further to $58,000 on Thursday, its lowest price since late 2024.
However, the bulls were able to reemerge at this point and prevented another breakdown, instead rebounding by a couple of grand. Bitcoin has now remained at around $60,000 for most of the past 36 hours.
