Binance Founder Claims Rivals Spent Millions Blocking His Pardon

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has made a number of explosive claims in his recently released memoir.

According to the book, titled 'Freedom of Money', several US-based crypto exchanges spent millions of dollars trying to prevent Zhao from being pardoned by former President Donald Trump.

Zhao's pardon was granted last year after he served four months in prison for violating the US Banking Secrecy Act.

In his memoir, Zhao alleges that media outlets such as Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal published 'false news' as part of a campaign to discredit him and prevent Binance from re-entering the US market.
