Bitcoin Prices Rebound Following Ceasefire Reports
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to $73,736 after hitting a near seven-week low following reports of a US-Iran ceasefire. The development has improved sentiment across risk assets and lifted demand for Bitcoin.
The cryptocurrency remained roughly 4% lower for the week and continues trading below its May peak above $82,000. Altcoins also moved higher during the session, with Ethereum trading near $2,015 and XRP approaching $1.32.
Bitcoin price analysis shows that the cryptocurrency fell after being rejected near the $82,750 resistance zone. The support box between $69,900 and $72,900 now carries major importance for short-term direction. A bounce from this area could send Bitcoin price back toward $78,000.
