Circle Integrates Cronos with Native USDC and EURC Stablecoins

Circle has integrated Cronos with native USDC, EURC, and Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) in a coordinated rollout. This move expands regulated stablecoin infrastructure before the launch of the Cronos App.

The integration allows users to have direct access to cross-chain settlement tools. According to Cronos, this is the first blockchain ecosystem to introduce native USDC, EURC, and CCTP simultaneously.

The update introduces the ability to hold regulated stablecoins backed by the dollar or euro in a single environment. Native USDC will support the upcoming mobile-first trading platform on Cronos, which will allow users to access various asset classes, including crypto assets, tokenized stocks, and prediction markets.
