Hana Financial Group Partners with Standard Chartered on Digital Assets

Hana Financial Group, a major financial conglomerate in South Korea, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Standard Chartered to collaborate on digital asset initiatives.

The partnership brings together the two banks' global networks and financial expertise as they explore cryptocurrency-related services.

As part of their cooperation, the companies will also look into joint initiatives in digital finance involving cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. This move is seen as a strategic effort to expand their presence in traditional finance by leveraging their combined expertise and global networks.
