Robinhood Chain Expands to Support Memecoins Alongside Real-World Assets

Robinhood's blockchain network has expanded to support both real-world asset (RWA) settlement and memecoin trading activity, according to CEO Vlad Tenev.

This is a shift from his previous stance that emphasized the importance of RWAs in digital assets. However, he now says that the network can handle both categories without any issues.

The expansion of Robinhood Chain comes as the company introduces new blockchain-based financial products, including tokenized stocks and decentralized stablecoin lending.
