Bitcoin ETF Withdrawals Hit Record High as Investors Rebalance Crypto Holdings
June 2026 saw record withdrawals of $4.5 billion from U.S.-listed Bitcoin ETFs, making it their biggest monthly withdrawal since January 2024.
This comes on the heels of a 20.5% decline in Bitcoin's price, its worst monthly fall since June 2022.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust IBIT was hit the hardest, with $3.55 billion withdrawn, accounting for about 79% of all Bitcoin ETF withdrawals.
Others were not immune to the outflows either: Ethereum ETFs saw a withdrawal of around $529 million, while Solana ETFs had their first month of withdrawals since launch at $787,000.
However, XRP ETFs bucked the trend with an inflow of $59.5 million, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) ETFs saw the strongest performance, attracting $161 million in investments.
