Bitcoin Price Fluctuations and Liquidation Intensity on Major Exchanges
A new data-driven analysis has shed light on the potential implications of Bitcoin's price movements on major cryptocurrency exchanges.
According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, if BTC falls below $77,036, the accumulated long liquidation intensity across major CEXs is expected to reach a significant $747 million. This could have substantial consequences for investors holding long positions in Bitcoin.
On the other hand, if Bitcoin breaks above $84,257, the accumulated short liquidation intensity across major CEXs is predicted to reach $742 million. This would likely impact investors with short positions in the cryptocurrency.
