Whale Exits Short Position at Loss, Immediately Re-Enters

A large cryptocurrency trader has been observed engaging in complex trading strategies involving Bitcoin.

According to Hyperinsight monitoring data, the trader, identified by its wallet address '0x616f5d5db5cf8d98a8554c84492bce764c7f09b1', liquidated a significant short position in Bitcoin at $76,218, resulting in a loss of around $2,614.

The trader had initially taken on a short position worth $4.06 million, but was forced to close it due to the stop-loss order being triggered.

However, rather than exiting the market entirely, the trader quickly re-entered with a new short position at $76,670, placing 52.6 BTC under this new position, valued at approximately $4.03 million.
