Ethereum Price Volatility Continues as Sellers and Buyers Clash
Ethereum's price has been experiencing significant fluctuations over the past few weeks, with the cryptocurrency currently trading at $2,290. Since April 13, Ethereum's price has been range-bound between $2,400 and $2,500, with buyers unable to push the price above the resistance level of $2,500.
The 21-day SMA support has provided a crucial level of support for Ethereum, but recent price action suggests that sellers are driving the price below this key indicator. If the bears manage to break below the 21-day SMA support, Ethereum may fall towards the $2,200 level.
On the other hand, if buyers can successfully push the price above the $2,400 barrier, Ethereum could rise towards the psychological level of $3,000. The 4-hour chart suggests that Ethereum's price is currently trapped between moving average lines, indicating sideways movement in the short term.
