Schwab Enters Cryptocurrency Market with New Trading Platform

Financial services giant Charles Schwab is venturing into the cryptocurrency market with the launch of its new trading platform, 'Schwab Crypto'. The platform will allow users to directly trade leading cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum within a familiar environment.

The move marks a significant shift in the company's offerings, as it previously only allowed indirect exposure to cryptocurrencies through exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and futures. With Schwab Crypto, retail investors will be able to manage their cryptocurrency portfolios using the same analytical tools as their traditional investments.
