Dubai Trade Authority Partners With Tether on Blockchain Education and Tokenization
Dubai's Trade Authority, DMCC, has partnered with Tether to explore blockchain education and tokenization frameworks for trade networks. The partnership aims to develop specialized workshops, tailored advisory sessions, and pilot programs that allow member companies to experiment with digital asset use cases.
The memorandum of understanding between DMCC and Tether reflects a broader institutional appetite for blockchain rails that can handle both legacy and native digital asset workflows.
Digital Asset, a New York-based blockchain technology company, raised $355 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz's crypto fund, a16z crypto. This brings Digital Asset's total funding to at least $847 million, positioning it among the most well-capitalized blockchain infrastructure providers.
