Bybit Prepares for Toncoin Rebranding, Halts Trading on June 16

Bybit, a leading derivatives and spot trading platform, has announced its support for Toncoin's rebranding to Gram. As part of this transition, Bybit will halt trading for all existing TON spot trading pairs at 8:00 a.m. UTC on June 16.

The rebranding from Toncoin to Gram is a significant shift for the project, which emerged from the Telegram Open Network (TON) ecosystem. The new ticker, GRAM, references the native token of the original TON blockchain concept.

Traders with open orders in TON pairs are advised to close or adjust their positions before the deadline. After the delisting, Bybit will convert existing TON balances to GRAM at a predetermined ratio, which has yet to be disclosed.
