Axiom Exchange Staff Allegedly Misused Internal Tools for Insider Trading
A blockchain investigator has uncovered evidence of alleged misconduct at Axiom Exchange, a cryptocurrency trading platform founded in 2024 by Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis.
The investigation, led by ZachXBT, claims that a senior employee, Broox Bauer, misused internal tools to access sensitive user data and trade on non-public information. According to the probe, Bauer accessed private wallet addresses, linked accounts, transaction history, and user identifiers using Axiom's internal dashboards.
The alleged strategy involved tracking private wallets of cryptocurrency influencers before they publicly promoted meme coins. By accessing this information, the group could monitor accumulation and position ahead of expected price moves.
