Volo DeFi Protocol Hit by Multi-Million Dollar Hack

A DeFi protocol called Volo Protocol has been hacked, resulting in the loss of approximately $3.5 million from three vaults holding WBTC, XAUm, and USDC.

The protocol, built on the Sui blockchain, allows users to deposit assets into 'vaults' which function as pooled investments. The vaults are designed to generate returns through various on-chain strategies.

Volo Protocol has confirmed a security breach and is working with the Sui Foundation to contain the damage. The protocol has frozen all vaults and is collaborating with on-chain investigators to trace the stolen funds.
