Brazilian Women's Crypto Participation Surges, Trading Volume Lags Behind

The participation rate of Brazilian women in cryptocurrency trading has seen significant growth over the past few years. According to data from Bitget, a report by the Brazilian Federal Revenue (RFB) shows that female participants in cryptocurrency trading increased from 11.34% in 2019 to 29.96% in December 2025 and reached 40.95% in January 2024.

However, despite this surge in participation, the proportion of trading volume by female investors remained steady at 12.88% in 2025, similar to 2019. This suggests that while more women are entering the cryptocurrency market, they may not be contributing as significantly to the overall trading volume.
