Draper Predicts Quantum Threat Will Target Banks, Not Bitcoin
Tim Draper, a well-known bitcoin investor and venture capitalist, believes that banks will be more vulnerable to quantum computing threats than the decentralized blockchain network of Bitcoin.
In a recent post on X, Draper argued that legacy financial systems are not as secure as they think, making them more susceptible to attacks from future quantum computing advances.
Draper compared the security of Bitcoin to Fort Knox, suggesting that it is more robust and resilient than traditional banking infrastructure.
He also emphasized the potential for retail adoption to drive competition with government-issued currencies, potentially leading to a shift towards using Bitcoin as a widely accepted currency.
