Strategy Extends Dividend Coverage with $3 Billion Reserve Boost

Strategy Inc. (Nasdaq: MSTR) has expanded its USD Reserve to provide 20.4 months of dividend coverage after a $450 million increase lifted the balance to $3 billion.

The company also reported 843,775 bitcoin and $1.763 billion in annual dividend obligations, demonstrating the scale of the cash cushion relative to its recurring distributions.

Chaitanya Jain, who oversees Strategy's bitcoin strategy and capital markets initiatives, emphasized the company's reported dividend coverage after the update.

The reserve expansion reflects Strategy's growing focus on funding preferred-stock obligations alongside its bitcoin treasury strategy. The cash buffer supports near-term distributions and interest payments.
