MoonPay Launches Open Wallet Standard for AI Agents

MoonPay's recent announcement of the Open Wallet Standard (OWS) has brought a long-awaited solution to the agent economy, where AI agents can now securely interact with wallets and blockchains. This open-source framework allows AI agents to create wallets, manage keys, sign transactions, and interact with blockchain networks without exposing private keys.

The OWS is released under an MIT license, which means anyone can use, modify, and distribute it freely. With support from over 15 organizations, including PayPal, Circle, and the Ethereum Foundation, the standard has a strong foundation for widespread adoption.
