ED Raids Bengaluru Premises Linked to Cryptocurrency-Related Money Laundering Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on multiple premises in Bengaluru as part of an ongoing investigation into a cryptocurrency-linked money laundering case.

Among those targeted were the two sons of Karnataka Congress MLA N A Haris, Mohammed Haris Nalapad and Omar Farook Nalapad, who are allegedly linked to the proceeds of this crime.

The raids were conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and targeted a total of about a dozen premises in the city.
