Crypto Donations Fuel Nigel Farage's Pro-Crypto Party

Nigel Farage's Reform UK party has been at the forefront of embracing the cryptocurrency industry, and recent data reveals that its efforts have paid off in a significant way.

According to Electoral Commission data released this week, the party received substantial donations from two high-profile crypto billionaires: Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo. Harborne, who is involved with the stablecoin issuer Tether, donated $4 million to the party, while Delo, co-founder of BitMEX, contributed $5.4 million.

These donations bring the total funds raised by Reform UK in the first quarter of this year to a staggering $9.4 million. This amount surpasses the fundraising efforts of other major parties in the UK, including Labour and Conservative, which each received around $5.4 million during the same period.
